Certified USSF Referees are assigned to all our home games (except Micro).
Although we currently have enough referees, we are always looking for more.

Referee Certification
-
Referees for Recreational Soccer games must be USSF Grade 9 and at least two years older than the age
level of the game. To get certified, attend a 1-day
Cal South Grade 9 clinic.

To center-referee competitive matches, referees must be Grade 8. This is a more demanding 2-day course.

Referee Mentoring
We run Mentor Scheme for local referees. Our aim is to nurture, encourage and retain them. If you can offer time to mentor, please let us know.

Registered Referees
Cal South maintains a list of currently registered referees.
Go to the Cal South Registered Officials List
to see if your name is listed together with the correct grade.
It can take several weeks from submitting your registration request to your name appearing on this website listing.
